As a Category Buyer, she/he is responsible to ensure the best Quality, Cost and Delivery Conditions to supply a category of parts to several plants within Universal Enclosures.She/he will be joining a team of 10 people.Aligned with the Corporate Strategy, She/he is in charge to implement the best terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve on a sustainable basis, the targets allocated to the team and the Procurement Department (Yearly Productivities, Suppliers Quality & Deliveries performances) :Ensure the operational relationships with allocated suppliers and drive sustainable competition into the supplier panelManage the Request for Quotations and offers selection in consistency with the commodity strategyLead concentration plan on targeted suppliers for Schneider Electric while securing business risksLead / participate to yearly negotiation with other DepartmentsIdentify/implement Technical productivities (QVE), Supplier Change (COS) with related actors (Marketing, R&D department, Suppliers)Whenever bearing a role of SSL (Schneider Supplier Leader), lead a global approach (Global negotiation, Should Cost approach, CAP tools, and Lean initiatives for allocated suppliers)Contribute to the procurement database/tools updates by providing necessary information to commodity managers / supplier leaders/ assistantBe the first escalation level for supplier crisis management.What's in it for me?(add additional benefits specific to job here)Who will you report to?Let us learn about you!
