Los Cabos has long been a favorite destination for luxury travelers and is a natural fit for Four Seasons as we expand our presence in Mexico.Role of the CarpenterEnsure daily coverage of the furniture rotation established in the maintenance plan, as well as the execution of repairs, adjustments, or modifications to the furniture and the actions and procedures indicated by the on-duty supervisor, to ensure the proper functioning of all carpentry equipment and related equipment in rooms, offices, kitchens, consumption centers, and public areas.What will you do in this role?Ensure to maintain a stock of necessary materials for corrective/preventive maintenance of assigned equipment.Utilize the HotSos computer system for addressing the requirements of different departments.Respond to room reports, prioritizing those in occupied rooms or directly requested by the guest.Participate in daily briefings to inform yourself of relevant points of the day, V.I.P.S in-house, arrivals, events, etc., that may affect your area or department.What is necessary for this role?High school education or equivalent experience.Minimum of 2 years experience in the operational area of carpentry, focused on manufacturing, restoration, and maintenance related to wood and its derived products.Solid knowledge of woods and derivatives such as MDF and particleboards.Experience of more than one year working in a luxury hotel or similar will be valued.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Work safely, prudently, and in an organized manner.
