About Us Cameco is one of the largest global providers of uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. The Role Cameco is looking for a student who is passionate about IT security to work with a group of talented and dedicated individuals to ensure our global IT systems are secure and controlled. As a member of this team you will play a critical role in contributing to the success of the business technology services (BTS) department and their goal to provide technological solutions that maximize business value while minimizing risk.
In this role you will: be part of a team that implements the information security program, promotes IT security awareness, investigates IT security incidents, audits minimum security configuration settings and monitors the corporation's information systems and environment for incidents relating to non-authorized use of privilege or external intrusion attempts.support security processes such as security incident response and participate in security-related projects.Required: You are entering your third or fourth year as a university student in computer science.Available for a 12 to 16 month term beginning in May 2025.Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.Assets: Currently enrolled in a Computer Science Internship Program.Passion for innovation.Strong desire to be part of a high performing team.Cameco is an employment equity employer and aims to achieve gender parity; as such, preference will be given to qualified members of equity groups.
