The Role The successful student will be working in the Compliance and Licensing group within the Safety, Health, Environment & Quality department at the corporate office in Saskatoon, SK.
In this role, you will: Conduct research on various environmental topics such as environmental regulations, aquatic toxicity, wildlife assessments, and surface water quality.Collect high-quality data, interpret laboratory analytical results, and prepare technical memos and reports.Create data tables from the environmental database system to assist with regulatory reporting.Required: You will be entering your third or fourth year as a university student specializing in environmental sciences, natural sciences, or a related field.
Recommended: Field experience is an asset. The ability to meet tight deadlines, work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team environment is essential. Excellent communication and organization skills are required. The successful candidate must hold a valid driver's license. Completion of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and/or snowmobile safety course is an asset.
This is a 4-month temporary student term, starting May 2025 to August 2025.
