About Us Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. The Role As a member of the technical services team, you will report to Program Manager, Technical Services. We are looking for a strong and dynamic team leader to ensure all aspects of project planning and execution meet the established requirements with respect to cost, schedule, scope, quality, health, safety and environment. Projects are in various stages, ranging from concept/framing through to implementation. Representative projects include both greenfield projects as well as brownfield expansions or modifications to existing facilities.
In this role, you will: Be responsible for the direct hands-on leadership and quality execution of projects to ensure company goals and business objectives are achieved Be responsible for the team's efficiency, productivity and compliance with Cameco and industry standards Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, identify and secure resources, report on project status to management, facilitate solutions, manage project risk, and promote a culture consistent with Cameco values Required:  Diploma or bachelor's degree in a related field A minimum of six to ten years of combined work experience in progressive project management roles in a manufacturing or industrial setting Experience with leading studies for greenfield/brownfield projects in an industrial mining setting Experience with managing detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning stages Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, build trust and maintain positive relationships with a wide variety of personnel PMP, trade certification and/or professional engineering designation, or the ability to obtain the relevant certification Mobility to follow projects to the jobsite and facilitate construction and commissioning activities; frequent travel to our northern Saskatchewan facilities is required. Salary Range: $127,000 - $158,000
