This is a dynamic position that will provide support across multiple departments at the Crow Butte Operation near Crawford Nebraska Provide support to the operations group by becoming a fully qualified plant operator, able to provide coverage and support to the operations group. Involves working shift work, including weekends and holidays Initiating and monitoring chemical processes; Monitoring flow rates and collecting samples Performing routine maintenance including floor wash-down, changing filters, washing screens, and making minor adjustments to other equipment. Provide support to the wellfield department which includes: Water sampling, mechanical integrity testing of wells, operating a pulling unit, mowing and other wellfield maintenance activities. Follow applicable SOP's in the daily completion of work tasks. Complete regulatory paperwork in a thorough and accurate manner. Safety is a top priority at Cameco. Successful candidates for all positions that will involve work at Safety-Sensitive Sites or in Safety-Sensitive Positions must take and pass a Substance Test, which includes marijuana, as a condition of employment. Marijuana remains in a user's system for about 30 days, so applicants who recently used marijuana recreationally should not expect to pass a substance test.
