Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.The RoleAs a member of the maintenance planning team, reporting to the Senior Planner, you will be committed to assisting Cigar Lake reach reliability excellence.In this role, you will:Be responsible for developing complete work order packages, managing material, labour availability and delivery.Work closely with the maintenance supervisors and various departments to develop repair plans, optimize maintenance plans, to improve maintenance activities and maximize equipment availability and maintenance worker efficiency.Follow up on completed work and consult with the operations and trades personnel to create and modify work plans to ensure preventive and predictive maintenance efficiencies for future work.Assist with bills of materials and equipment data, creating material master records, preparing reports and scheduling support.Required:A valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial Industrial Mechanic Journeyperson trade certificate recognized mechanical technologist diploma or mechanical engineering degree.Three to five years or more of related experience in a heavy industrial setting.Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered.Computer maintenance management system experience.Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.Strong computer and technical skills.Recommended:Previous maintenance planning, coordinating and/or scheduling experience.Proficiency with SAP-PM.Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) certification, CMRP designation or equivalent.Knowledge of asset management, reliability and maintenance execution best practices.Exposure to continuous improvement methodology, such as LEAN, and/or Six Sigma training.Experience in an operating underground mining facility
