Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.The RoleReporting to the general supervisor, mobile maintenance and drill, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance tradespeople in a way that sustainably maximizes the use of assets. You will ensure processes are followed, and work with your team to make improvements as opportunities are identified. You will coach and develop a team of problem solvers.In this role, you will:Provide oversight for production drilling equipment, development equipment and underground concrete/grouting equipment.Provide oversight for underground mobile equipment including LHD Loaders (Scoops), Scissor decks (AWP's) Skid Steers, man carriers, and other related underground mining equipment.Provide oversight of welding crew for both surface and underground requirements.Assist with other discipline supervisors and departments as required to achieve common goals.Play an active role in operational reliability and asset health.Participate in predictive, preventative and condition-based maintenance.Required:Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson heavy duty equipment mechanic certification or a technical diploma in a mechanical related discipline.10 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent.3 years minimum working in an underground mining environment.Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered.Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills.Ability to obtain a Saskatchewan supervisors certificate.First aid certificate.Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.Recommended:Previous underground mobile equipment experience.Previous working experience using SAP, 4-Hana, Sigga, Bentley as well as Microsoft's suite of applications
