Career Opportunities: Journeyperson Refrigeration Mechanic

Position and ResponsibilitiesAs a refrigeration mechanic, your main responsibility will be operation and maintenance of all refrigeration plants and associated equipment. Responsibilities also include assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of all refrigeration equipment on site with respect to the refrigeration plant equipment, site air conditioners/HVAC, and kitchen refrigeration equipment. You will help plan, coordinate, and execute refrigeration plant equipment shutdowns and start-ups.You will manage and execute the preventative maintenance of existing equipment, use troubleshooting techniques to identify problems on components and systems. You will also be responsible for the installation of new equipment and follow the corporate environmental, health, and safety policies and standards in the trade.Education and QualificationsRequirements of the position:Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalentValid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson refrigeration mechanic certificationCurrently hold or have the ability to obtain a valid Saskatchewan refrigeration engineer certificationFive years of relevant ammonia-based refrigeration work experience in an industrial settingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative Team player with effective computer and organizational skillsWork a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraftAssets:- Greater than 100T ammonia refrigeration plant experience- SAP, SIGGA, Bentley software experiencePreference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan's North.#J-18808-Ljbffr
