Working alongside a collaborative and multi-disciplinary project team, the Geologist II will participate and contribute to the planning and execution of exploration field programs.
This role is a combination of office- and field-based work, with the office portion based in Saskatoon, and the field portion taking place in northern Saskatchewan on a rotational schedule during the winter and summer field seasons.In the field, the main responsibilities are:Drill core logging and samplingDownhole probing of drill holes with geophysical toolsCreating and digitizing cross sections/mapsSpotting drill locations and trailsContractor managementSafety inspectionsOther field duties as assigned by the Project Geologist.The office portion of the position will focus on compilation, interpretation, and reporting of geological data to advance our portfolio of exploration projects.
