The Role
In this role, you will: Lead a team of professionals to ensure safe and efficient maintenance activitiesMaintain appropriate budget and workforce levels to ensure work is planned, scheduled and coordinated to deliver services as effectively as possibleProvide departmental and site directionFoster a culture of operational excellence and uphold Cameco's valuesProvide coaching, mentoring and guidance to lead a high performing teamAssist with the development of medium-term department strategiesOccasionally act as a site senior, attending daily and weekly meetingsRequired: Journeyperson trade or engineering technology diplomaA minimum of 10 years of progressive work experience in heavy industryEquivalent combination of education and work experience consideredExperience supervising front-line staffWork a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraftRecommended: SAP or maintenance management system experienceConditions of Employment: Substance testCameco is proud to offer a competitive total reward package which includes:
