The Role The technical services department is looking for a talented CAD technologist who would like to be part of a team that will provide design services and solutions to Cameco operations and other business units. In this role, you will: Provide CAD and design services including 3D reality capture, CAD software management, and supporting other lead designers in development of data rich 3D models, and drawings Perform process mechanical and piping systems design, and support the integration of mechanical and piping designs in Building Information Modelling process and enable construction, commissioning, start-up and eventually transfer to operations Support operating and maintaining specialized 3D laser scanning equipment, performing 3D reality data capture, and processing of the data on projects Ensure all work is done in accordance with Cameco's processes, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements to meet the required quality Projects will be based at Cameco's northern Saskatchewan sites and Ontario operations. Individual will be required to visit to these sites Required: Diploma in CAD/ CAM or mechanical engineering technology Two to seven years of relevant work experience Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered A.Sc.T, C.E
