About Us Rabbit Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, produced over 200 million pounds of uranium concentrate from 1975 through 2016 and is currently in a safe state of care and maintenance. The uranium mined and milled at Rabbit Lake has been used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. The Role Cameco is looking for a passionate professional to lead the environment and quality functions at the Rabbit Lake operation. You will lead a committed team with a focus on ensuring the environment and quality programs are implemented effectively, that operational activities are compliant with all applicable regulatory and internal requirements, and that performance meets established criteria. You will coordinate activities of the team members, other departments and corporate personnel to deliver timely reporting, responses to regulatory and stakeholder inquiries, and to address inspection or audit results. You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the environmental performance of the operation and ensuring protection of the environment consistent with program requirements and regulatory approvals.
