Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.The RoleCameco is looking for a passionate professional to lead the environment and quality functions at the Rabbit Lake operation. You will lead a committed team with a focus on ensuring the environment and quality programs are implemented effectively, that operational activities are compliant with all applicable regulatory and internal requirements, and that performance meets established criteria. You will coordinate activities of the team members, other departments and corporate personnel to deliver timely reporting, responses to regulatory and stakeholder inquiries, and to address inspection or audit results. You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the environmental performance of the operation and ensuring protection of the environment consistent with program requirements and regulatory approvals. The role will also seek performance improvements while identifying and pursuing opportunities to create efficiencies in delivery and operational activities
