This temporary role will focus on automating environmental reports using Excel, Power BI, and other available tools.
It is an excellent opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment within a world-class chemical industry.As Environmental Automation Specialist you will be part of the Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) team at our location in Tarragona, Spain.ResponsibilitiesAutomate the collection and processing of environmental data.Develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI.Collaborate with different departments to ensure the accuracy and relevance of reports.Implement macros and scripts in Excel to optimize report efficiency.Validate and test automated reports to ensure quality.Document processes and train staff on the use of developed tools.QualificationsFinal-year student or recent graduate in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science, or related fields.Advanced knowledge of Excel e.G.
Macros, pivots, charting and power queries, etcExperience using Power BI for report and dashboard creation.Analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Spanish and/or Catalan native speaker.
A good command of English is needed.Preferred SkillsAbility to understand and translate complex data into clear and concise reports.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.Ability to build strong relationships with peers and collaborators from different areas.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in data automation projects.Basic programming knowledge (Python, R, etc.)
