Offer Description 1. OBJECTIVE OF THE CALL
This call is intended to hire a part-time research technician (20 hours per week) to perform the following tasks associated with the project "AdvancementS in Social Economy through Technological Solutions":
Management and updating of the project databases, including recording and organizing relevant research data and conducting preliminary analyses, with special attention to data integrity and accessibility.
Collection and analysis of secondary data (existing information relevant to the project) by reviewing public sources and specific databases to gather contextual and comparative data.
Coordination with international stakeholders to resolve issues, support communication of key project activities, and monitor project progress.
Support in preparing research reports for the project, providing accurate and up-to-date information for tracking and evaluating results.
Development of training and orientation materials for the project team.
Support in the supervision and management of project tasks.
2. ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS
Applicants should hold a Higher Technician degree in Administration and Finance or equivalent qualifications in accounting and administration. The selected individual must demonstrate knowledge and prior experience in international settings and in companies or projects with a social impact focus.

Specific Requirements
At the time of submitting the application, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Hold Spanish nationality or have a residence and work permit in Spain.
Possess a Higher Technician degree in Administration and Finance or an equivalent qualification in accounting and administration.
Demonstrate more than 7 years of experience in administration, finance, or accounting, preferably within international companies or projects in the social sector.
Have an intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and database management.
Have knowledge of European data protection regulations or experience in legal compliance.
The candidate's appointment to the project's research team will be made through an employment contract between the selected candidate and UNED, in accordance with Article 23 bis of Law 14/2011, of June 1, on Science, Technology, and Innovation, as amended by Law 17/2022, of September 5, and any other applicable legal provisions.
The contract will be permanent and part-time; however, its duration will be conditioned by the term of the supporting research project, which is scheduled to end on October 31, 2027, and by the availability of sufficient funding.
In any case, the grounds for terminating the employment contract will be those set out in Article 49 of the revised text of the Workers' Statute Act and related regulations. Objective grounds for termination of the contract will include those specified in Article 52 of the Workers' Statute Act, with particular emphasis on subsection (e), which identifies as an objective ground the insufficient funding allocation necessary to maintain this employment contract.
The place of work will be the Faculty of Economics and Business at UNED, located at Calle Senda del Rey, s/n, 28040 Madrid.
The selected candidate must start within ten days following the signing of the contract. Failure to comply with this deadline will be considered a withdrawal from the contract and, therefore, will result in the forfeiture of any rights arising from this call.
The contract signed under this call will provide a total monthly salary of 755 euros throughout the duration of the contract, in twelve installments (prorated extra payments).
Under no circumstances will the provision of services performed as a result of the contract signed under this call imply any commitment regarding the future incorporation of the individual into UNED's staff.
Eligibility criteria
The Committee will select candidates in accordance with the following criteria:
Candidate's Curriculum Vitae. The maximum score for this section will be 70 out of 100, distributed as follows:
Previous experience in administration and accounting within international projects or companies with a social impact (up to 35%).
Intermediate-advanced proficiency in English and Spanish (up to 15%).
Knowledge and experience in European legislation, especially regarding GDPR and compliance (up to 5%).
Specific experience in social enterprises or social impact projects (up to 10%).
Additional skills such as adaptability in multicultural environments, data management and report writing, organizational skills, and customer service (up to 5%).
Scientific and technical benefits of the candidate's inclusion in the project. The maximum score for this section will be 30 out of 100 and will be assessed based on the candidate's potential impact on efficient project management and implementation. For this purpose, individual interviews with candidates may be conducted if necessary.
Selection process
The evaluation of applications will be carried out by a Committee composed of the Vice-Rector for Research, Transfer, and Scientific Outreach or, if applicable, their delegate; the principal investigator of the project to which the hired candidate will be assigned or their delegate; and the Head of the Department of Research and International Relations or their delegate.
