The Fundación de Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Universitario de la Princesa announces a position for a Senior Laboratory Technician for the Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory Technician position for the project PID2022-141895OB-I00, under the direction of Dr. Noa Martín Cófreces.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Vocational training in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory.
EXPERIENCE:
At least 18 months of experience working with human peripheral blood samples and handling biological samples in level 2 containment culture facilities.
At least 18 months of experience in immunofluorescence techniques.
At least 18 months of experience in handling confocal fluorescence and epifluorescence microscopes combined with deconvolution.
At least 18 months of experience in biochemical techniques: isolation of specific subcellular fractions, precipitation with specific recombinant proteins.
At least one year of experience in immunoelectrophoresis.
At least one year of experience handling flow cytometers.
Experience in laboratory management tasks (control of reagents and equipment, registration and storage of patient samples and cell lines).
OTHER:
Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Specific training in microscopy. Use of image analysis software (Image J, Aivia).
Participation in publications in international scientific journals indexed in Pubmed.
Demonstrable participation in awarded or applied public or private research projects.
Intermediate or advanced knowledge of English.
Benefits:
The selected candidate will work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, and the salary will be as established in the convenio colectivo del "Grupo de Empresas de las Fundaciones de Investigación Biomédica de las Instituciones Sanitarias adscritas al Servicio Madrileño de Salud (SERMAS) for the requested position.
This contract is concluded in accordance with the provisions of art. 23 bis de la Ley 14/2011 Contrato de actividades científico técnicas, associated with the research project "Proteostasis como regulador del citoesqueleto de tubulina, la distribución de orgánulos y del metabolismo de linfocitos T CD4 a lo largo de la vida" PID2022-141895OB-I00.
Eligibility criteria:
The evaluation criteria for this offer are as follows, up to a maximum of 21 points:
Specific training in microscopy: 1 point per course, up to a maximum of 2 points.
Use of image analysis software (Image J, Aivia): 1 point per program, up to a maximum of 2 points.
Participation in publications in international scientific journals indexed in Pubmed: 1 point per publication, up to a maximum of 4 points.
Demonstrable participation in awarded or applied public or private research projects: 1 point per project, up to a maximum of 4 points.
Language proficiency in English (B2-0.5 points, C1-1 point).
Personal interview: up to 8 points.
Selection process:
Applications that meet the qualification requirements and are within the application period will be examined by a panel consisting of three members (one chair and two members).
From the applications received, a curriculum evaluation will be carried out, assigning a score to the candidates based on the merits presented, according to the requirements requested for the position.
Subsequently, candidates may be called for a personal interview.
