AVL Iberica offers a job in Spain (ES) as: Several possibilities for Calibration Engineers within our growing workgroup that include: System validation engineers: Follow a validation plan to verify the correct behavior of powertrain components when submitted to a failure.
Powertrain debug engineers: Assist production / end-of-line / dealerships and calibration teams to maintain prototypes and customer vehicles fully operational.
Calibration data management: Assembly, validation and industrialization of calibrations related to powertrain components.
Generic calibration engineers: Plan and perform a wide range of tests within engine bench and vehicle on engine base calibration / emission / diagnostics or driveability.
Calibration pilots: Work together with junior and senior calibration engineers to ensure the proper development of the calibration (technical lead - overview of all activities).
Mostly gasoline hybrid platforms within our current projects.
Calibration of internal combustion engine and high voltage components.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Depending on selected role.
YOUR PROFILE: Education: Mechanical / Automotive / or similar Engineering degree.
Provided understanding of internal combustion engines and power electronics.
Competences acquired on ETAS INCA, AVL Concerto, Vector Canalyzer, AVL Concerto, AVL Creta, DDT2000; Matlab simulink or similar tools required.
English and Spanish required; French is a plus.
Minimum 1 year of previous calibration experience, preferable in hybrid systems.
