AVL Iberica offers a job in Spain (ES) asCalibration EngineerSeveral possibilities for Calibration Engineers within our growing workgroup that include:System validation engineers: Follow a validation plan to verify the correct behavior of powertrain components when submitted to a failurePowertrain debug engineers: Assist production / end-of-line / dealerships and calibration teams to maintain prototypes and customer vehicles fully operationalCalibration data management: Assembly, validation and industrialization of calibrations related to powertrain componentsGeneric calibration engineers: Plan and perform a wide range of tests within engine bench and vehicle on engine base calibration / emission / diagnostics or driveabilityCalibration pilots: Work together with junior and senior calibration engineers to ensure the proper development of the calibration (technical lead - overview of all activities)Mostly gasoline hybrid platforms within our current projectsCalibration of internal combustion engine and high voltage componentsYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Depending on selected roleYOUR PROFILE:Education: Mechanical / Automotive / or similar Engineering degreeProvided understanding of internal combustion engines and power electronicsCompetences acquired on ETAS INCA, AVL Concerto, Vector Canalyzer, AVL Concerto, AVL Creta, DDT2000; Matlab simulink or similar tools requiredEnglish required, Spanish highly desirableFrench is a plusMinimum 1 year of previous calibration experience.
