Position Overview:Your role is to organise and manage all available resources at the plant in order to achieve budgeted Plant Targets.
You provide leadership, motivation, support and development of staff in order to increase productivity and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health and Safety legislation and ensure a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in EHS behaviours across the plant, including visitors and contractors.Overall responsibility for Plant Accreditations (ISO, BRC).Oversee the optimization of the Production Master Schedule (Production Plan) for production efficiency while maintaining high levels of customer service.Maximise efficiency of Plant in terms of profit, production, reprographics, continuous improvement, cost and cash, including stock optimization.Collaborate with other Plants in benchmarking and optimization in order to exceed company objectives.Implement all action plans needed to support the strategy and industry best practices.Creation and delivery of Operational Action Plans and Purchasing Action plans with a focus on efficiency, energy saving, company targets and cost control.Control of Plant Asset Management.Execution on time and on cost of all Plant Capital projects.Establish effective relationships with key customer representatives and key stakeholders.In conjunction with Financial Controller, prepare and deliver Annual Plant Budget and Business Reviews.Preparation for and planning of all Plant Capital expenditure.Develop healthy and productive working relationships with the team through the Works Council or Union (as applicable) and Management team.What are we looking for?Technical /Management degree or degree level attainments.Experience in a plant management role within FMCG manufacturing environment.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.Strong communication skills across all organisational levels.Knowledge of budgetary processes and capital expenditure projects.Working knowledge of legislation regarding H&S and Environmental policies.Fluent in English.Ball Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
