MISSION Perform the CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) studies to meet the product design to ensure the technical and functional feasibility, with the objective of reaching cost, quality and timing goals established by the Company.GENERAL FUNCTIONSEnsure, together with the Product Design Engineer (PDE) and Senior CAE Engineer, the technical feasibility of the products during the offer and development stages according to Ficosa Development System (FDS) methodology.Perform the necessary CAE studies of the components and assemblies (production or prototype) using the simulation software to guarantee the fulfilment of the OEM and Ficosa product specifications, to meet the cost and quality goals established by the Company.Analyse the CAE results of the product, find solutions and propose modifications to PDE in order to improve the design performance, the cost, quality and timing to avoid issues with real parts.Check the virtual product with all design team: Senior CAE Engineer, Product Engineering Master, Product Design Engineer, Quality Design Engineer, Tooling Technician, and CAD Technician.Collaborate with the manufacturing team during the industrialization phase.Apply the standardized solutions and Lessons Learnt in the simulation studies.Ensure that all simulations are done following the company's standards and that all documentation (reports, files, 3D models, proposals, etc.) has been completed to guarantee the traceability of the product design levels.Ensure effective technical-computing communication between the company, clients, and suppliers to obtain an optimum exchange of information regarding CAE studies.Observe Ficosa's Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting, and improving the OHSE and Quality department.POSITION REQUIREMENTSAcademic background: University Degree in Engineering or equivalentAdditional training: CAE software depending on the simulation kind:Mechanical: Hypermesh, Nastran, Abaqus, RadiossFluid: Hypermesh, Ansys Fluent, Star-CCM+Electromagnetics: Hypermesh, Altair Feko, Ansys HFSS, CSTRheological: Hypermesh, Moldflow, Moldex 3DLanguages: Advanced English (written and spoken)Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar positionOTHER SPECIFICATIONSAdditional training: CAD Software (Catia or NX)Knowledge of R&D Tools (Problem Solving, GDT...) would be of additional value.Ficosa is an equal opportunity employer.
