Founded in 2019 with the support of the European Union, SiPearl embodies Europe's dream of mastering the technological heart of its supercomputers: the microprocessor.SiPearl is building Rhea, the high-performance, low-power European microprocessor dedicated to supercomputing and AI inference.This new generation of microprocessors will first target EuroHPC Joint Undertaking ecosystem, which is deploying world-class supercomputing infrastructures in Europe for solving major challenges in medical research, artificial intelligence, security, energy management and climate with a reduced carbon footprint.SiPearl is working in close collaboration with its 30 partners from the European Processor Initiative (EPI) consortium - leading names from the scientific community, supercomputing centers and industry - which are its stakeholders, future clients and end-users.SiPearl employs more than 190 people in:France (Maisons-Laffitte, Grenoble, Massy, Sophia Antipolis),Germany (Duisburg)Spain (Barcelona)and Italy (Bologna)SiPearl is part of French Tech Next 120 programme 2024 class.About the role The SiPearl R&D hardware team is running a lot of compilations and build operation, using a on-premise compute farm and CI runners. This is a resource-intensive task, with a lot of room for improvements, toward a better efficiency, stability, reproducibility. The CAD/flow team supports the engineering team, and needs to increase his skillset and workforce to propose better and inovative solutions.Missions for this position: * discover and understand what is currenltly done at SiPearl in terms of build and compilation by the hardware team; assess the needs : source languages, toolchains, targets, specific constraints, context; explore third party solutions and home-made tooling; propose, prototype and test a solution; transfer to production : help the early adopters, iron out the first issues, and enable the ramp-up; ensure support and continuous improvements of the build system.In this position, the candidate will work within the CAD/flow team, and interact:with the engineering team, mainly the test, simulation and verification team; with the IT team to understand and work on the constraints of storage and job distribution; with the Gitlabinstance owner for the CI partand all the users who need some support on build systems and compilation flows
