The role

Seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to develop embedded firmware in C++ for industrial hardware, focusing on bare-metal programming and motor control . This hands-on role involves working with custom boards , managing communication protocol migration from RS422 to CAN , and developing device drivers.

Key responsibilities

Definition of general Firmware architecture

Selection of work tools and development philosophy

Lead Firmware development for specific projects

Quality management and KPIs definition of the Firmware development.

Minimum Requirements

5+ years in firmware development, strong C++ skills.

Experience with bare-metal programming , Renesas e2studio , CCRX compiler.

Knowledge of RS422 , CAN , USB protocols.

Familiarity with Bitbucket , Jira is beneficial.

Preferred : Motor control expertise, familiarity with industrial devices like sensors and electrovalves, and experience in continuous integration workflows.

Attributes : Strong communicator, collaborative, and hands-on with a proactive approach to learning and sharing knowledge.
