Scopely is looking for an Art Director to join our Monopoly GO! team in Sevilla on a hybrid basis.

What You Will DoWork closely with Senior Art Director, ensuring all creative material is consistently aligned with the game vision and is of exceptional high quality.

Support the brand through creative designs and unique experiences.

Lead creative brainstorms by engaging the artists to identify creative solutions / direction.

Ability to set clear art direction for various features and/or content by working with various art disciplines to deliver excellent art.

Establish and drive an art culture that engages talent, maximizes team potential, and encourages proactive cross-discipline collaboration to deliver the best possible player experience.

Art Manager responsibilities; performance reviews and goal management for the art team based in EU.

Contribute to studio level planning for the product team.

Partner with art producer in driving the art team's production process.

Be responsible for the art team health including team morale, providing effective oversight of team training and resourcing needs.

Identify inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement within the creative process.

Lead inter-department communications as they relate to art and assist in supporting all external art requirements.

Bring innovative vision and creative flair while maintaining a diegetic design approach.


What We're Looking ForFacilitate collaboration across multiple art disciplines, 2D, UI, 3D, Anim, and VFX.

Experience in managing a large group of artists.

Shipped and supported at least one title as an Art Lead or Associate AD.

Experience in developing social games on mobile platforms, with a preference to casual space.

Art style that demonstrates a good understanding of whimsical art style.

Highly skilled at providing clear direction, guidance and mentoring tailored to the skill level of team members across all Art disciplines.

An eye for detail, able to apply expert level art judgment on form, perspective, color, style, composition and movement in a way which gives the confidence and authority to own the art quality.

Proven to be flexible, highly motivated and approachable.

Deep understanding of how game art/visual design supports gameplay, UX, narrative and brand positioning/marketing.

Familiar with game pipelines and their restrictions.

Able to communicate and propagate the artistic vision throughout the studio and deliver concise, upwards feedback to GM, executives and the wider business.

7+ years of experience in Art Lead or Associate AD role.


Bonus PointsExperience in working with an IP.

Knowledge in working with Unity.
