What are we looking for

Our Finance department is looking for a Credit Analyst to be part of our team. In this position, you will be responsible for several tasks, including providing guidance on credit risks related to lending programs that involve massive amounts of money.

Your daily tasks in this role will include analyzing credit data and financial information of customers, such as payment records, income, and savings history thoroughly.

Location: Cantoria, Almería. Work is for the US market-based. Working from Spain.

Working hours are based on the US EST Time zone (13h - 22h).

Remote work 40% (remote 2 days/week).

What you will do

Handle Collections / Credit Management inside the US Organization.
Maintain and enforce credit policies and procedures.
Assist Credit Supervisor in managing credit insurance. Maintain local relationships to maximize limit coverage and manage claims.
Analyze creditworthiness of new and existing customers. Establish credit limits and terms. Analyze customers' financial statements when available.
Provide weekly updates on collection efforts.
Analyze revenue cycle and identify opportunities to improve collection efforts.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with RD's, General Managers, and Sales Departments to assist in collections.
Assist Credit Supervisor in developing strategies and goals to reduce exposure to write-offs.
Assist with selecting and managing the relationship of third-party collection agencies.
Review, prepare, and analyze A/R aging reports.
Work with internal divisions/departments as needed.

What you need to succeed

EXPERIENCE: 2 years of billing, finance, or other related experience.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

KNOWLEDGE:
English C1. Both verbal and written skills.

Professional proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

SKILLS:
Communication: Oral & Written. Capacity to interact with multiple levels within all phases of commercial industry projects.
Strong planning and organization skills.
Ability to perform and manage billing activities efficiently and effectively.
Strong Customer Service Skills.
Ability to meet work requirements within established timelines.
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
