About the Role As Legal Counsel supporting Spain, you will be based in Madrid.
This role requires a profile who is driven, proactive, strategic and business minded.
Your day-to-day work will include providing advice on corporate and operationally relevant matters to support the growth and sustained development of Fever's business.
The role will also require drafting and helping business teams negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers, against the backdrop of a fast-paced company undergoing an ambitious expansion.
You will need to familiarise yourself closely with Fever's mission and vision, structure, strategy, and objectives, and leverage your legal background for one or more key projects that you will own from time to time.
You will be expected to work in the following areas for Spain, and you will also have the chance to work with other jurisdictions around the world: Drafting and negotiating of commercial contracts, terms and conditions, etc.
Research legal issues around product development and regulatory matters Provide support to business teams and upper management in negotiations Keep up to date on developments in legislation and jurisprudence Advise on general legal matters related to the Spanish market Coordinate and prioritise work with internal stakeholders, as well as external legal advisors Take responsibility for knowledge and document management, such as preparation/revision of templates and legal guides Participate in ongoing compliance functions as required, as well as upskilling, support and growth of other team members About you Have an excellent academic record in a Spanish law school Be a barred/practising lawyer, with 4+ years of PQE in the legal field Native level Spanish with a command of English Team-player and effective communicator who brings emotional intelligence to work This role is located in Fever's HQ in Madrid, and although we can be flexible with the timing you will be expected to move there if you are currently living elsewhere.
