Then come and join our global team as Head of Finance, Diagnostics – Southwest Europe (SWE) to lead the financial team (approx. 60 employees) including country finance, business line controlling, contract finance, and Zone customer service finance.
Residency should be in one of the SWE countries: Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, France, Belgium, Luxembourg.
Your tasks and responsibilities:Strategy: You develop Zone strategic initiatives as a critical member of Diagnostics SWE leadership team, define activities, and provide input and support for shared targets. You deliver timely and comprehensive reporting and analysis to Business Area and Zone (current and forecasting reports) of income statement, Balance sheet, FCF and FTE including risk and opportunity profiles to drive business priorities. You define and support pricing strategy, deal structure and review of assay profitability topics. You participate in Business partner reviews and provide input from a financial perspective.Financial Processes: You drive the company's financial planning for the Diagnostics business in SWE. You plan, organize, and direct Country Financial Leads. You drive applicable cross-functional activities with business and back-office departments. You support deal escalation process and relevant approvals as per the company's limit of authority. You liaise with the Order to Cash process for the Diagnostics business in EMEA, from day-to-day activities to strategic direction in alignment with the global framework. You ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements of the business environments in which Diagnostics operates, this includes partner management for financial aspects. You ensure proper books and records of Diagnostics for the SWE zone. You manage the operating working capital of the Diagnostic business for the SWE zone. You ensure a culture of continuous productivity, NCC management and reporting.People: You guide with a high focus on developing the culture and engagement of the SWE Finance team through feedback, listening, coaching, and talent development. You inspire and steer collaboration in a global matrixed organization with partnerships in the SWE Zone, global Core Lab Solutions and Specialty Lab Solutions teams. You partner with other zones to develop best practices, productivity initiatives, and process improvements through digitalization and resource alignment.Your qualifications and experience:You have managed several countries as Head of Finance.
