What we expect Minimum of 7+ years of experience in the financial industry in Europe (financial consultancies or banks), ideally within credit risk topics and/or financial regulation and banking business topics. Knowledge of current regulatory requirements relating to the IRB approach within the last 4-5 years (i.e., PD and ideally EAD or LGD experience). Knowledge of operational tasks in the context of the development, validation, and/or management of credit risk models such as IFRS9 models and regulation.
Hands-on experience in model development and/or validation within the last 4-5 years. Strong analytical skills and interest in quantitative topics.
Ability to work with coding languages (e.g., Excel, Python, SQL, R, SAS). Proficiency in relevant MS Office applications. Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international team. Ability to work independently and to quickly familiarize with new topics. Ability to understand, independently structure, and derive innovative solutions for complex topics within short timeframes. Fluent in English and Spanish (including the ability to write professional reports).
