Our Client: Our client's Engineering & Construction (E&C) Business Unit specializes in delivering innovative solutions in the renewable energy sector.
They are seeking a Project Management Consultant to join their team in Juno Beach, FL for a 12-month contract.
Position Overview: As a Project Management Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating internal and external resources to support the development, engineering, estimating, supply chain, scheduling, and construction activities of BESS projects.
This position requires strong project management skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and excellent communication and analytical abilities.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate project development teams to ensure efficient resource allocation and adherence to project schedules. Collaborate with regulatory, environmental, and other stakeholders to integrate project variables. Develop technical scopes and optimize project variables for improved feasibility. Support negotiations for Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and Grid Interconnection Agreements (GIA). Manage engineering, estimating, and procurement requirements. Provide technical support for design development and financial modeling. Present financial models and project progress to executive leadership and secure budget approvals. Manage commercial contracts for critical services including geotechnical, survey, engineering, and construction. Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the E&C business unit. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including regulatory agencies and local communities. Ensure seamless transition of projects to the Construction Project Manager for execution. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Finance/Accounting preferred. 5+ years of experience in project management within engineering and construction, preferably in renewable energy projects. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management software. Experience in electricity markets, renewables, and/or battery projects is advantageous. PMP Certification is a plus.
