We are looking for a Patent Program Manager with a good eye for strategy and project management to lead the design, update, and implementation of robust patent programs for Fever worldwide, although the role is in Madrid. This role will require significant proactivity, autonomy, and drive. You will work closely with product managers, and creative and technological teams to identify and protect patentable ideas, designs, technologies, and innovations, all within a fast-paced company undergoing an ambitious global expansion. You will be expected to collaborate with external legal counsel and other intellectual property experts as necessary, and to work in the following areas:Review and update the existing Patent Program.Collect best practices for interacting with patent examiners during the examination process to secure patent rights efficiently.Manage a diverse patent portfolio covering various aspects of the company's lines of business.Foster the integration of patent portfolio management with overall business strategy and technology roadmap, leveraging appropriate training of key stakeholders on patent fundamentals.Develop and update guidelines for evaluating the patentability of innovations and inventions that are tailored to the industry and company's activities.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role, you will:Be a barred lawyer, with 5+ years of PQE in the intellectual property field (predominantly patent work).Speak fluent English, with a command of legal English (fluency in other languages is a plus).Have an excellent academic record and/or experience in top-notch companies or top-tier law-firms or similar professional services entities.A US degree (LLM or JD) is a plus.Have experience working on diverse or international projects, or international teams.Have strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.Possess strong technical skills in the field of intellectual property and especially in patents.Be an effective communicator who brings emotional intelligence to work.You can expect to join a lovely team of diverse, hardworking, and kind professionals, where a cultural fit is someone looking to have an impact and work nimbly
