Helping our customers to sell more parts & make things easier with our data and solutions based on our globally leading data standards At TecAlliance, IT and automotive specialists collaborate to digitize the automotive spare parts market.We are not just witnessing the future of the market together - we are shaping it.More than 900 colleagues work tirelessly across 140 countries, and the numbers are growing.We are owned by 34 automotive companies such as Bosch, Continental, or ZF and take pride in connecting all data for them.Become part of a great team!We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee our regional (Europe/Middle East/Africa) Accounting team,ensuring smooth daily operations and the accurate preparation of financial statements.This role involves supervising and mentoring staff, fostering a collaborative environment, and maintaining robust financial procedures.In this role you will report to Global Lead Accounting of the TecAlliance Group and ensure that the region communicates financial results clearly and accurately to the parent company and other stakeholders.Key Responsibilities: Lead the regional Accounting team Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger Ensure that the financial statements of the region are produced and managed in a timely fashion Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant GAAP (HGB) Monitor liquidity development in the region (including DSO) and identify expected liquidity shortfalls Ensure proper cost bookings and that revenues are taken in line with TecAlliance Revenue Recognition policies Act as the point of contact for local banks and coordinate all banking matters Collaborate with Global Leads to ensure compliance with TecAlliance's financial procedures and policies Coordinate and lead the external audit process, ensuring timely and accurate closure Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional finance qualification is a plus 5+ years of proven experience as a Finance or Accounting Manager in a multinational company, with experience in leading an international team In-depth knowledge of local accounting principles in the region, tax laws, and regulatory requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in financial management software, bookkeeping software and Microsoft Office suite Fluency in English, German language highly beneficial (written and spoken) Benefits Contract & Salary Contract title: your position is part of our job profile "Accountant Lead EMEA (m/f/d)".Our generic job profiles compare groups of employees with similar tasks that are part of the same area of responsibility/team.The displayed title above ensures that you can find us.Location-independency & flexibility stay with us: Full Remote or hybrid: we work 80-100% remotely; however we have regular on-site team events.Structured Onboarding: you receive an individual onboarding plan, have multiple onboarding days in the beginning, and a wealth of e-learning, training, and documentation besides your team at your disposal Set-up: for this we will provide you with a tailored tech set-up (Dell devices,the standard remote package includes a notebook, 2monitors, headset, mobile phone, mouse + keyboard, docking station) ?
