Reference: I-PI 115-24.Number of vacancies: one.Job position: assistant researcher.Funded line of research: "Productivity, risk and macroeconomic policies".Working hours: 37.5 hours/week in morning/afternoon sessions.Remuneration: €1,347.86 gross/monthly (plus extra payments in accordance with current regulations).Research group: "Economic Analysis".At the end of the duration of this first project or its budgetary availability, the successful applicant may join other projects within the same line of research.Dept./Institute: Department of Fundamentals of Economic Analysis.Tasks to be carried out:Conducting research tasks in the field of macroeconomics and financial economics, under the supervision of the principal investigator.Participating in the Department's research seminars.Participating in the organisation of seminars, workshops, scientific meetings and other research-related activities.Performing any other task related to this job position that may arise during the implementation of the project.Job profile:Preference will be given to those with:Experience and training related to the tasks listed above.Use and management of macroeconomic and microeconomic databases.Quantitative and econometric methods that can be used for the modelling, statistical inference and estimation of causal effects.Knowledge of English.Qualification: Official Master's degree in Economics (Spanish MECES level 3 or EQF level 7) or any other official Master's degree with equivalent content.Requirements for applicants:Compliance with the requirements listed below must always refer to the date of expiry of the deadline for the submission of applications and must be maintained until the date of entering into the contract.Applicants must:Hold or be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree in Economics (Spanish MECES level 2 or EQF level 6) plus an official Master's degree in Economics (Spanish MECES level 3 or EQF level 7) or any other official Master's degree with equivalent content.
