We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Mainland Europe education team based in Valencia, Spain.
This role is pivotal in driving Flywire's growth within the education sector by identifying, qualifying, and engaging potential clients.
The ideal candidate will be a go-getter with strong analytical and research skills, a proven track record in cold calling, exceptional phone etiquette, and experience in creating and executing targeted email campaigns.
Key Responsibilities: Prospecting & Lead Generation: Conduct outbound cold calling to potential educational institutions across Mainland Europe to introduce Flywire's payment solutions.
Develop and execute targeted email campaigns to engage and nurture leads.
Leverage social media and other digital channels to identify and engage potential leads.
Utilize tools to automate email campaigns and streamline prospecting efforts.
Perform in-depth market research and analysis to identify and segment client niches.
Keep detailed reports of the status of contacted accounts and manage follow-up actions.
Track, manage, and report on sales activities and pipeline development using Salesforce.Client Engagement: Qualify leads and schedule meetings between potential clients and Flywire's sales executives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target institutions.
Present Flywire's value proposition effectively to prospective clients in Spanish, English, and French.Market Research & Strategy: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and strategies to drive lead generation.
Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events across Europe to promote Flywire and establish new connections.Sales Support: Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other sales materials.
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on goals and strategies.
Provide feedback and insights to help refine Flywire's product offerings and sales approach.Organization & Reporting: Maintain an organized workflow, ensuring timely follow-up with leads and prospects.
Regularly update Salesforce with accurate and up-to-date information on all sales activities.
Prepare and present weekly reports on sales metrics, pipeline status, and business development activities.
Report directly to the Mainland Europe Sales Director.Qualifications: Exceptional communication skills with fluency in Spanish, English, and French (both written and verbal).Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
