We are looking for a passionate Instructional Designer who embraces a human-centered approach to create meaningful learning experiences. You will be part of the Learning Innovation Unit and report to the Product Manager. Our ideal Instructional Designer has some experience of User Experience, Instructional Design and educational pedagogy fundamentals, the perfect combination to create exceptional learning experiences.
ResponsibilitiesCreate engaging learning activities and persuasive course content.Build multi-media content and assessments around principles and practices that ensure that the learning journey is enjoyable, engaging, relevant, and informative.Create curricula outlines that address identified learning goals.Formulate effective and measurable learning objectives that help our learners achieve their learning purposes.Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product.Work closely with Program Directors, Faculty, Learning Technologists and Designers to create stunning asynchronous and synchronous experiences.Combine diverse quantitative and qualitative research methods and derive insights from them, in collaboration with other members of the team.Advocate for highest quality, always striving to produce aesthetically pleasing and usable learning experiences.What do we expect from youEnthusiasm, creativity and outstanding interpersonal skills.Excellent communication skills: listening, understanding and persuading.Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced innovative environment with minimal supervision.Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to details.Fluent in English and/or Spanish.Requirements1-2 years of working experience in Instructional Design.Excellent skills relating to writing, editing and layout (storyboards) in a variety of contexts.Degree in related field (Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Education).Experience with Authoring Tools (especially Articulate).Experience working in agile environments and with agile methodologies will be very well accepted.
