About The Role: The Accounting Section Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting and financial teams.
This role requires a strong leader with expertise in accounting systems, financial practices, and organizational operations.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in financial analysis, compliance, and team management, ensuring that all accounting activities align with company goals and government regulations.
Your Responsibilities: Supervise the daily operations of the accounting and financial teams, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all activities.
Train, set goals, and evaluate the performance of group managers and subordinates, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Develop, review, and enhance accounting systems, policies, and procedures to optimize financial processes.
Coordinate section and company activities, delegating responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.
Act as a liaison between the company and headquarters, addressing and responding to their demands.
Compile performance reports and present them to the Treasurer and President, providing insights and recommendations.
Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information within the company to support other business operations.
Manage schedules, deadlines, and ensure compliance with government policies and regulations.
Respond to tax investigations and annual audits, ensuring the company's financial practices are in full compliance with legal standards.
Oversee communication with banks regarding remittances and checks, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
What our Client is Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any related fields.
Proven managerial experience in accounting, tax, financial management, and organizational operations.
Strong background in developing and reviewing accounting policies and managing annual budgets.
Strong communication skills, particularly in liaising with banks and handling remittances and checks.
In-depth knowledge of compliance with government regulations and handling of tax investigations and audits.
Experience in Training and Development.
Proficiency in handling a full set of accounting practices.
