The Role Key activities and responsibilities: Managing typical M&A transaction from desktop analysis to closing (Modelling, Q&A, managing advisors, communicating results) Conducting financial analysis of new markets entries Actively monitor financial returns from M&A closings / acquisition of projects to developers through the financial close of debt financings Assisting in the writing of investment papers and memos to support our overall investment process Providing financial skills support to other parts of the business and transaction phases on an ad-hoc basis Manage Matrix's Investment model to support key business decisions General Skills / Attributes: Experience: for analysts at least 2 years of relevant experience at a top-rated financial institution or IPP (bank, 'big 4', buyside and/or corporate-strategic) High level of financial modelling in project finance (particularly in renewables projects) Strong analytical skills A proactive and highly motivated self-starter with a commercial approach A strong communicator with the ability to deal confidently and build relationships with colleagues, advisors, and investors Language abilities required: English and Spanish Competitive salary offered #J-18808-Ljbffr
