The Role Key activities and responsibilities: Managing typical M&A transaction from desktop analysis to closing (Modelling, Q&A, managing advisors, communicating results)Conducting financial analysis of new markets entriesActively monitor financial returns from M&A closings / acquisition of projects to developers through the financial close of debt financingsAssisting in the writing of investment papers and memos to support our overall investment processProviding financial skills support to other parts of the business and transaction phases on an ad-hoc basisManage Matrix's Investment model to support key business decisionsGeneral Skills / Attributes: Experience: for analysts at least 2 years of relevant experience at a top-rated financial institution or IPP (bank, 'big 4', buyside and/or corporate-strategic)High level of financial modelling in project finance (particularly in renewables projects)Strong analytical skillsA proactive and highly motivated self-starter with a commercial approachA strong communicator with the ability to deal confidently and build relationships with colleagues, advisors, and investorsLanguage abilities required: English and SpanishCompetitive salary offered
