The Global Design Quality Manager leads all the activities of the Quality assurance and the management Lead will lead the DQM team to ensure DQM quality activities are on track. The DQM manager is in charge of leading the Quality planning activities, Quality execution activities, and Quality improvement through prevention and problem solving. Main Responsibilities Managing the global Design Quality team in charge of: Leading Design QA activities as defined by the Lear procedure and engineering process Prepare Design Quality Plans and timings Conduct Design Quality management gate reviews and approve releases for DV, PV, and SOP Participate in Design Quality Process Plan approval Audit Design 8Ds, One Pager, Talking Points, 3x5WHYs analysis Ensure Systemic read-across and Lessons Learned creation Lead external Design Quality assessments, ASPICE assessments, and IATF audits Act as the Design Quality Interface with the customers Evaluate OEM Design QA requirements Participate in Formal Technical Reviews Participate in process tailoring approvals Ensure Design Quality check execution Lead the Design QA Executive Quarterly report and improvement action plan Drive continuous improvement of the engineering development process to improve product quality through defect prevention and problem-solving Participate in RFQs providing input for Design QA budget Key Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree - Engineering Degree Background in automotive development and QA knowledge Strong Managerial skills Conflict Resolution skills Moderation skills English: fluent - mandatory German skills are desirable Knowledge of Software, HW and Mechanical design and development Knowledge of Product management and systems design and test Knowledge of requirements analysis, understanding, and review with Customer and internally #J-18808-Ljbffr
