With an annual turnover of €1.2 billion, we owe our success to our 6,500 highly skilled, dedicated, and passionate Selecta associates who are committed to creating millions of moments of joy for our clients and their consumers every day.About the positionAs Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the assurance plan through leading audit activities from planning to conclusion, collaborating with management on improving control effectiveness and reporting to the leadership team. You'll be expected to develop trust and relationships across the business to support the team's active involvement in the risk management process and to inspire change and continuous improvement, whilst upholding professional standards in internal auditing. There is freedom to think creatively to deliver assurance and insights and support the team to make the best use of technologies and data.Your main duties will include:Plan, scope and undertake audit assignments effectively and efficiently operating independently, ensuring work is produced to the required standard and deadline by identifying key risks to business objectives, assessing and testing controls using data analysis where applicable and identifying areas for improvement.Produce high quality audit reports, written in a clear and concise manner to convey observations and risks to senior management, obtaining their commitment to improvement through documented actions.Actively monitor agreed actions arising from audit activity and support management in control improvements, helping to share and promote best practice across the group.Maintain positive relationships within the business, being 'hands on' in helping to overcome problems, assessing threats, driving improvements and raising general awareness of risk management.Advise management on the prevention of fraud - identifying fraud risks in areas under audit review and assessing and reporting on the effectiveness of mitigating controls, suggesting actions to strengthen the control framework and supporting the group's fraud risk assessment.Inform and advise management of issues that have risk or control implications through ad-hoc advice and where necessary, assist in projects.
