We foster a teamwork culture with room for individual development. Siemens is seeking to recruit a highly qualified and motivated CFD engineer to join its Development Support team. The engineer will work in the Development Support Fluids department and contribute to its Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) division, focusing on the core CFD modeling capabilities of Siemens PLM's flagship multi-physics simulation product, Simcenter STAR-CCM+.
As a Development Support member, the engineer will verify CFD software predictions meet the highest quality standards and help deliver advanced technical software support services to a global client base. Development Support provides high-level support that facilitates the transfer of technical knowledge between the Solution Domains Development organization and the rest of the company.
Development Support engineers work closely with software developers as new versions of Simcenter STAR-CCM+ are developed to ensure new software features are well understood and function as intended. They also liaise with teams worldwide to provide advanced technical solutions so that end-user issues are promptly addressed or fixed, while software products are utilized to their maximum potential.
As a member of the Development Support CFD division, you will be expected to contribute to areas related to finite volume flow solvers, turbulence, heat transfer, and computational aeroacoustics modeling. To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate advanced knowledge of CFD and experience with modeling complex industrial flows typical of applications like turbomachinery, external aerodynamics, and internal combustion engines. Good communication, organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects, and work efficiently with multicultural technical teams are essential to this role.

Making sure newly implemented Simcenter STAR-CCM+ developments are well understood, emphasizing verifying new features function as designed throughout the development and release cycles.
