Our work in Europe covers the European Union (EU) institutions and executive agencies, national governments and commercial clients, and spans many policy areas, including employment, justice, home affairs, education training, social inclusion, citizenship, energy, climate and environment.We are expanding our services, and to support this growth, we are looking for a Training Manager to join our Policy in Action (PIA) line of business.
PIA provides training and capacity-building services, mutual (peer-based) learning services, programme and network support, and technical assistance to the EU institutions, particularly the European Commission Directorate Generals, as well as governmental bodies in the UK.Our current portfolio of work includes delivery of online and face-to-face training for the Union for Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM), the Erasmus + Student and Alumni networks; the Secretariat for the European Credit system for Vocational Education and Training; and a wide range of mutual learning services in the field of employment and social policy.
Other contracts specifically in the field of training have included the general online training for the European Solidarity Corps and the design and delivery of blended training for the EU Aid Volunteers Programme.The role of Training Manager will involve supporting training-related assignments, providing technical expertise for the design and delivery of training-related services, and contributing to ICF's growth and excellence in this field.
This is an expert position requiring the application of the latest pedagogical theory and know-how, and the development of tailored, client-oriented solutions across a range of training scenarios and topics.
It also extends to other types of training and capacity building, such as mutual learning, coaching, mentoring, and other knowledge/competence-based support.
