You will join a dynamic team within a truly international working environment collaborating with plants in Spain, France, and Portugal.Your ResponsibilitiesYou will focus on cutting procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people. You will improve the company for your Procurement Category through local strategy definition and implementation, regional and local synergies, development of category knowledge, process optimization, TCO optimization to reach the objectives of profitability, quality, and projects' terms.Reporting to Procurement Manager France & Iberia you will be responsible for:Strategy:Develop the necessary information related to the suppliers of your panel to be able to elaborate and monitor your category strategy. Lead and execute Procurement strategies for the suppliers' panel in your category developing, promoting, globalizing, or substituting. Further develop the category strategy, risk management and reverse engineering to understand better supply cost structure and supplier development in general. Install KPIs at all levels to monitor the implementation strategy. Actively support business development activities as well as other value adding cross-sectional projects from purchasing perspective. Set-up state-of-the-art purchasing standards to implement the procurement category strategy.Sourcing:Initiate and lead the processes of regional sourcing to assure the fulfilment of the objectives of capacity, quality, price, time limit, service, reliability, financial health, and technical backup. Identify and source new suppliers and launch calls for tenders.Negotiation:Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.Contract Management:Develop, negotiate, and manage the Procurement contracts and agreements. Give support to plant project teams in the assignment process and the monitoring forward sourcing. Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.Troubleshooting:Manage and solve the suppliers-plant problems on all cost, quality, and delivery concerns.Database Management:Establish and update an approved supplier panel. Create your own database for your procurement category, centralize price updates when possible.Requisites:University degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or Supply Chain or equivalent education. Minimum 3 years in similar position in the industrial sector (preferably in the packaging industry). Fluent in English, French, and Spanish (Portuguese would be a plus but not a must; German and/or Italian are an advantage but not necessary). Proficient in Office. Willingness to travel in France, Spain, and Portugal (up to %). Excellent soft skills, business and emotional intelligence, and exemplary work ethics
