DESCRIPTIONAmazon is hiring a Buyer to be based in our corporate offices in Barcelona. As a member of our Global Procurement Shared Services (GPSS) team, you will support the EU procurement and business teams by delivering operational purchasing tasks and assignments.MAIN SCOPE:To provide functional support to the Warehouse sites Procurement network for operational and administrative tasks. This includes daily execution of purchasing orders and/or documents creation, invoice and supplier master data management, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.REPORTING TO: GPSS ManagerKEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:Meet service level agreements (SLA) for standard tasks (e.g. PR/PO, ticket resolving...)Achieving assigned project targets/objectivesKey job responsibilitiesProcess daily purchase requisitions, remedy tickets, and web requisitionsPerform sourcingProcess invoice queries and reconciliationPoint of contact for some outside vendors/manufacturersAdministrates Purchase Order processSet up and maintain supplier master data for procurement networkWork in full compliance with the company Spending and Transaction policyProactively manage and decrease the number of invoices on hold (IOH), ensuring a robust procure-to-pay process.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSC1/C1 English and German levelKnowledge in using ERP systems (e.g. SAP, ORACLE, Coupa) in large organizationsKnowledge in MS Office - in particular MS ExcelPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSHigh precision in verbal and written communicationPrevious experience in shared service centers advantageousData analysis experience will be valued.Self-motivatedAbility to resolve day-to-day problems and focus on delivering resultsAbility to make effective escalation decisionsGood attention to detail and organizational skillsGood judgment and instinctsAble to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment, good time managementFormal business administration or procurement qualification required; Bachelor degree preferredAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
