Buyer, Global Procurement Central Services [Ail304]

Amazon is hiring a Buyer to be based in our corporate offices in Barcelona. As a member of our Global Procurement Central Services (GPCS) team, you will support the EU procurement and business teams by delivering operational purchasing tasks and assignments.

MAIN SCOPE: To provide functional support to the Warehouse sites Procurement network for operational and administrative tasks. This includes daily execution of purchasing orders and/or documents creation, invoice and supplier master data management, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Meet service level agreements (SLA) for standard tasks (e.g. Purchase requisition compliance, Sourcing...)
Achieving assigned project targets/objectives

Key Job Responsibilities: Process daily purchase requisitions compliance, perform sourcing, remedy tickets, and web requisitions.
Process invoice and general procurement related queries.
Point of contact for some outside vendors/manufacturers.
Administrate Purchase Order process.
Work in full compliance with the company Spending and Transaction policy.
Proactively manage and decrease the number of invoices on hold (IOH), ensuring a robust procure-to-pay process.
