Handles change requests, drives process and quality improvements.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Day-to-day administration of technical processes involved in product file release workflow.Development and administration of product build (SQL/AWS) databases including maintenance and optimization of production processes.Coordination between all departments in relation to technical questions, product development, and process/project improvements.Building, compilation, and testing of all production files, data, and content, for monthly release cycle.Identification and investigation of operational opportunities and problems, seeking effective solutions through improvements in technology solutions and business processes.PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:Experience:Minimum of 2 years' experience in technical process engineering role within a localisation environment.Exposure to content management systems and web technologies would be beneficial.Publishing and/or automotive industry experience is desirable but not a pre-requisite.Skills/Knowledge:Excellent knowledge of XML. A rudimentary understanding of JSON would also be beneficial.Should be able to read code and be familiar with database environments and mechanisms.Knowledge of a variety of web publishing techniques.Knowledge, skills and experience in dealing with different types of source content including complex software files, transform-based processes, and database management.Aware of localization and globalization procedures and practices.Competencies:Proven track record of getting things done; able to take ownership; energetic and passionate.Good written and verbal skills.Flexible.
