As a Senior IT Architect you will work alongside a bold, energetic and collaborative team. You will evaluate and coach our clients' technology teams, define technology strategies, architecture solutions and help us design the future. Together with our clients, you will develop superior digital and technology concepts and architecture solutions as well as support technical implementations actively and on site, applying your sound technical know-how, your understanding of business contexts, and your analytical and conceptual skills.
What You'll BringBetween 6 - 10 years in data strategy, technical project management, or technology consulting with a proven track record in leading IT implementation projects.Fluent in English & Spanish (Mandatory)Technical Skills:Proficient in designing and managing scalable, high-availability cloud architectures using major cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud.Skilled in the deployment and management of cloud-native services, including serverless functions, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and microservices architectures.Experience with cloud security management, including identity and access management (IAM), security groups, and compliance policies.Data Systems Expertise:Deep understanding of cloud data services like Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage, and comprehensive knowledge of cloud-based database services such as Amazon RDS, Azure SQL Database, and Google Cloud SQL.Expertise in cloud-based data integration and ETL tools like AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, and Google Cloud Dataflow.Proficient in designing data replication and backup strategies across multiple regions for disaster recovery and high availability.Desirable Expertise:Experience in developing and enforcing cloud governance policies to ensure cost management, security compliance, and resource optimization within the cloud environment.Proficient in implementing cloud security strategies, including the use of tools for continuous monitoring and threat detection.Interpersonal & Leadership Skills:A strong analytical mindset for evaluating complex IT application landscapes and optimizing development processes.Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and provide technical leadership.Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data architecture to guide strategic decisions and innovations.Industry Experience:Strong experience in either the banking or energy sector, demonstrating a proven track record in major projects and innovations within one of these industries.Who You'll Work WithBCG Managing Directors and Partners (MDP's), PLA Managing Directors (MD's), BCG Consultants at all levels, PLA Consultants at all levels, Clients, vendors, partners.
Additional infoAt BCG Platinion you will have the opportunity to travel around the globe to work with clients and BCG teams. At times, this role involves significant travel to client sites. The amount of travel will depend on client needs and nature of projects.
