As a software test engineer for Floor2plan Shipyard-MES, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.Functions and responsibilities as QA EngineerTest Planning: Collaborate with the development and product teams to create comprehensive test plans based on project requirements.Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.Defect Reporting: Document and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate that software changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.Test Automation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and ensure effective communication throughout the development lifecycle.Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality assurance process.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Familiarity with the maritime or shipyard industry is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
