Undertaking various simulation studies individually or as part of a team on a daily basis.2. Making reports out of studies and presenting to customers.3. Understanding customer needs by reading customer specifications and participating in customer meetings.4. Coordination and communication with all disciplines involved in project and tender deliveries as well as in close connection to research and development activities.5. Having ambition in learning and sharing critical knowledge in today's power system.6. You will be in frequent contact with the other engineering disciplines, project managers, customers and other Hitachi Energy units in an international environment.Your Background1. You hold an M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or similar.2. You are experienced within power systems analysis and have at least five years of job experience in this field.3. It is preferred that you have knowledge in several of the programs and tools we are using: RTDS, PSCAD, PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, Matlab, EMTP-RV, etc.4. It is considered as a merit if you have experience in preparing automated scripts, e.G. in Python and MATLAB, for running simulations in various studies.5. It is considered as a merit if you have previous experience in modelling of wind farms and studying their stability in projects with the STATCOM application.6. It is considered as a merit if you have previous programming skills in FORTRAN and DSL to develop models in PSS/E and PowerFactory.7. It is considered as a merit if you have previous experience of working in tenders and are familiar with activities such as cost estimation, coordination with sales, understanding customer specification.8. Since you will be working in an international environment it is essential that you communicate fluently in English.9. Additional language skills are qualifying but not required.10. Your competence in Synchronous Condenser Machine modelling and studies is a plus.11. Your ability to work independently as well as in a team and to assume responsibility for given tasks is a key to success.12
