Start your journey with us!We are now looking for Legal Counsel to join our Business Legal team.Why eDreams ODIGEOJoin the world's leading travel subscription platform and one of the largest e-commerce businesses in Europe.We're a leading travel tech company, revolutionising the travel booking experience through our consumer insight, innovative technology, market leadership, and Prime, the world's first travel subscription program.Role Mission:You will be part of the Business Legal Team that advises in a wide range of matters related to:- the legal requirements of our consumer facing websites and apps; - terms and conditions for our website, products, promotions and contests; - access to supplier content and inventory; - conducting business as a travel seller in international markets; - commercial litigation and public procedures related to consumers.What you'll do:The Role's Key Responsibilities and Tasks:- Advise on current consumer law and the application of same across our websites in our products, content and services; - Draft, update and maintain terms and conditions of our websites/apps and our products and services; - Manage processes and dialogues with relevant authorities, especially consumer departments; - Manage our brand reputation by reporting and escalating brand abuse and defamatory content; - Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure legal concepts are communicated clearly; - Build and manage the legal team's precedent bank and internal guidance documents; - Horizon scan for upcoming regulatory changes that may impact the business; - Provide training to team members and business stakeholders; - Manage outside legal counsel; - Provide supportto other members of the legal team and business teams as needed; What you need to succeed:- Spanish Degree in Law and LL.M. in Professional Legal Practice or equivalent; - Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills; - A minimum of 2+years' professional experience practising as a lawyer, in-house with consumer law focus preferred; - Strong consumerlaw knowledge and experience in the digital sector is required; - Experience managing procedures with public administrations preferred; - Excellent communication and influencing skills with attention to detail; - Strong work ethic and organisational skills; - Versatility is essential as you will assist in a wide range of matters.What's in it for you?- A rewarding Compensation package including flexible benefits and performance-based bonuses.- Continuous learning opportunities with free Coursera access and workshops.- Grow opportunities to empower your career through personalised career paths.- Your well-being is our priority with a hybrid home-office model.- Work hard, party hard culture with after-work events and community activities.- Enjoy a dynamic and healthy environment that supports innovation and growth
