Partner with marketing in the development and support of defined sales programmes in alignment with 5-year strategic plans. Apply market, customer and end-user insights in the preparation and delivery of compelling technical, solution-based and category focused sales presentations.He/She will also conduct competitive and new customer research to identify, prioritise and open new customer accounts in line with strategic plans.Will support national sales and marketing pull through activities. Partner with distributors, resellers, brokers and/or external parties in support of sales activities, education, program execution, etc. to optimise sales attainment and growth of brand equity. Integrates category management/leadership programs with customers online and instore.The role could be located in Barcelona with 60-70% of travel and requires both Spanish and English language skills.What You'll Be DoingGrow and service existing customers/distributors/resellers sales in Cataluña / Aragon and Balear areaIndependently open new key accounts.Sell all brands across one or more channels into national accounts and through regional national account buyers, to achieve defined sales and EBITDA goalsCollaborate with marketing team to adapt and create national marketing programs/strategies for account specific needs.Accountable for semi-complex contract negotiation, development, internal collaborationMonitor and actively drive customer e-commerce/websites in harmony with marketplace strategy.Lead external merchandiser sales efforts of all brands across diverse channels to achieve defined salesWhat You'll Bring To The RoleBachelor's degree in relevant field, MBA or similar would be desirable.Valid driving license.Proficiency in English and Catalan are a must.8-10 + years of relevant consumer packaged goods business development experience in relevant trade channel(s) to include identification and opening of new business and maintenance and growth of existing customers to achieve goals
